01.Unload Delivery Truck (Wednesday)
Volunteers help unload our Greater Boston Food Bank delivery and bring food into the pantry so it can be stocked and distributed to our neighbors. This shift takes about one hour and involves lifting and carrying food items.
02.Restock Pantry (Saturday)
After clients finish shopping on Saturday, volunteers help restock pantry shelves and organize food so the pantry is ready for the next distribution. This role may involve lifting and moving food items. This is a great opportunity for children to volunteer with a parent or guardian. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
03.Pantry Setup (Friday)
Join our Friday team as we transform the space into a fully functioning food pantry. Volunteers help set up the shopping area, sort donations, and organize food so everything is ready to welcome clients.
