
Meet The Team

Executive Director
Susan Dietrich
Susan began as an occasional restocking volunteer with her husband and two sons in 2013, and gradually increased her involvement at the pantry. She assumed the role of Assistant Director in March 2016, and has served as Executive Director since August 2017, shepherding the pantry through periods of tremendous growth and the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Susan is a past President of the board of Medway Extended Day, a Cub Scout Den Leader for five years, and she served on the Medway School Committee from May 2017-May 2023, the last four years as its Chair. A graduate of Boston College (B.A., History), she has lived in Medway since 2008, and is an active member of St. Mary’s in Franklin, where she lectors and sings alto in the adult choir.

Director of Operations
Jen Tomasetti
Jen started supporting the food pantry with her family near the start of the COVID-19 pandemic as an occasional volunteer for the weekly food distribution. Over time, she expanded her support, taking on the role of assistant to the Executive Director and, since March 2023, acting as the pantry’s Director of Operations, supporting all aspects of pantry operation. Jen received a Master of Science in Management from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and has lived in Medway since 2005, raising two sons, both of whom have played an active role in the food pantry.

Treasurer
Jodie Garzon
Jodie started volunteering with us in December 2022 on the busiest day of the year, toy distribution day, when we put out a request for bilingual volunteers. Since then, she has consistently helped register and welcome new clients on Saturday mornings. In June 2024, she joined the board and assumed the role of the pantry’s Treasurer. Professionally, in addition to her private consulting business for multi-national family businesses, estates and non-profits, she serves as Chief Operating Officer for a private real estate company headquartered in Newton. Her family has lived in Millis since 2010 and she has served on and chaired several town boards and committees. She is also an active member of the Medway Village Church.

Board Member
Ryan Tomasetti
Ryan was introduced to the food pantry as a long-time leader in the Medway Scouting program, collecting donations, restocking shelves, and occasionally supporting food distribution. At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, he started volunteering on a weekly basis, bringing one or both of his two sons to help where needed. Since March 2023, Ryan has served as an active member of the board of directors and, individually, as the pantry’s treasurer. He is a graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute and is a certified Project Management Professional, working as a program director for a large corporation. He has lived in Medway since 2005.

Head of Strategic Initiatives
Martin Dietrich
A Medway resident since 2008, Marty and his wife Susan have raised 2 boys and are very active in the community. He has served on town committees, is a board member on multiple non-profit corporations, has held various positions in Scout leadership, coached youth sports, and is very active in his church. A volunteer at MVFP since 2013, Marty has served in a variety of roles both behind the scenes and with clients. In his professional life, he is a senior level operations manager focused on leadership collaboration, using data to solve problems, process innovation, ethics and compliance, and creating a culture of operational excellence. Marty is an outdoor enthusiast who likes to hunt, fish, and hike and has passion for finding ways to improve the sustainability of our natural resources.

Client Services Manager
Michelle Reed
Michelle joined the organization as a volunteer in 2022 after years of supporting the food pantry through neighborhood donation drives organized with her family. Her dedication to serving the community and passion for helping others led to an expanded role as Director of Communications, where she oversaw communications, marketing, and community outreach for the Medway Village Food Pantry.​

In addition to her nonprofit work, Michelle has managed social media, website design, and marketing for Molly’s Apothecary in Medway. Earlier in her career, she worked at the American Cancer Society in Planned Giving and in the Office of the CEO, supporting the New England Board of Directors.

Michelle is a graduate of Bridgewater State University and has lived in Medway with her husband since 2007. They have two children who attend Medway High School. As a longtime resident, Michelle is deeply committed to supporting and strengthening the community she calls home.

Board Member
John Dugan
John is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and Suffolk University Law School. He and his wife, Cathy, lived in Millis for 40 years before moving to Medway in 2015 after their three children had grown and left home.

John has practiced probate and family law since 1976, with a focus on estate planning, guardianships, conservatorships, fiduciary administration, and probate and fiduciary litigation. He is a co-founder of the Franklin law firm Doherty, Dugan, Cannon, Raymond & Weil. Throughout his distinguished legal career, John has served as a member and former Chair of the Massachusetts Bar Association's Probate Council and as President of its Section Council.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, John has a long history of community involvement. He coached youth sports for many years and served as President of Millis Little League in 1982, when the Millis team advanced to the national quarterfinals.
​
John is also the co-author of Guardianships and Conservatorships in Massachusetts, written with the Honorable Jennifer Ulwick and Dr. Rebecca Brendel. He has received numerous awards in recognition of his pro bono legal service and commitment to helping others.

As a volunteer with the Medway Village Food Pantry, John has seen firsthand the growing need for food assistance in our community. He has enjoyed his time as a volunteer at the Medway Village Food Pantry and looks forward to helping and serving an ever-growing number of people who rely on the Pantry for their most basic needs.

Board Member
Frank Hillery
Frank has been volunteering at the Medway Food Pantry at Mahan Circle since his retirement in May 2025 after a 45-year career in accounting and finance.
After initially working as a CPA at Deloitte & Touche, most of Frank's career has been in senior financial management positions at both publicly traded and privately owned technology companies.
Frank and his wife, Ellen, have lived in Medway for 30 years, during which time they sent their two children through the Medway school system. Frank also served one term on the Medway Finance Committee.

Delivery Services Manager
Tom Anderson
Tom joined the Medway Food Pantry in March 2025 after retiring from a 40 year career as a CPA in private industry working senior roles for large corporations. He quickly became involved in all aspects of the operation and assumed the role as Manager of Delivery Services when the two Medway food pantries united.
Tom is a past Chairman of the Medway Capital Improvement Committee, past Chairman of the Medway Middle School Renovation, past Chairman of the Boy Scout Troop 748 Committee.

A graduate of Clarkson University (BS), George Washington University (MBA) and Bentley University (MS) he has lived in Medway with his family since 1998.
Tom continues to be active as a consultant and in sports as he enjoys soccer, street hockey, pickleball, golf and biking. As a volunteer with the food pantry he has continued his passion for helping others and filling the needs of the community.
